Here at Fig Shed studio we are very flexible in the services that we offer to artists, but to give you an idea, below is a range of some of the things we offer with a guide on pricing. Please note that the prices listed are NOT final as we can negotiate deals on an individual basis depending on a range of factors. These factors include how many songs you plan to record, whether you require mixing/mastering, if you’ve worked with us before, if you need more flexible hours etc.
RECORDING PACKAGES

HALF DAY
Sessions of up to 4 hours in the studio which includes:
- Full use of the studio
- All in-house gear
- A recording engineer/producer
- Finishing previous recordings
- Tracking drums / vocal overdubs
- Live band recordings
- Finalising productions / arrangements
10am – 2pm  |  2pm-6pm  |  6pm-10pm
$300
FULL DAY
Sessions of up to 8Â hours in the studio which includes:
- Full use of the studio
- All in-house gear
- A recording engineer/producer
- Recording a full track from scratch
- Producing / arranging multiple tracks
- Recording multiple parts with in-house session musicians
- Post-production across a full album
10am – 6pm  |  2pm – 10pm
$400

MIXING
Mixing services are entirely flexible at Fig Shed Studio. Our engineers can work with you remotely or in-person, whether you’ve recorded your track here at Fig Shed or not. This means that there is no fixed cost associated with mixing, as it depends on the amount of time required to mix your individual project. The cost will vary depending on the amount of tracks, editing required, vocal tuning, revisions etc. Our engineer will provide a quote with the estimated cost beforehand, and will keep transparent communication providing updates throughout the process.Â
Mixing at Fig Shed Studio includes:
- Up to 5 free mix revisions
- Unfinished demos throughout the mixing process
- All uncompressed track stems
- Mixed 24-bit 48KHz audio file (mp3 + other export formats provided)
- All files sent via Google Drive

MASTERING
Mastering is the final step to getting your song polished at industry levels and ready for distribution. Mastering rates are dependant on how many songs you require, with $50 per song as a starting point, with discounts for larger projects such as EPs or albums.Â
Mastering at Fig Shed Studio includes:
- Up to 2 free mastering revisions
- Mastered 24-bit 48KHz lossless audio files including:
- Full hi-res mix master
- Instrumental master (no vocals)
- TV Mix master (no lead vocals)
- Acapella (vocal only)
- Masters for various distribution formats including:
- Â Apple Digital Masters, DDP files for CD, Hi-Res for Vinyl
- All files sent via Google Drive
$50 per song
